If a Reciprocating Saw Was Used, Why Didn’t the Family Downstairs hear it?
Description:
The prosecution’s theory is that a reciprocating saw was used in the Nare sh Bhatt case. But there is a major question that continues to go unanswered:
If a reciprocating saw was being used upstairs, did the family living in the basement hear it?
A reciprocating saw is not a quiet tool. If investigators truly believed it played a central role in the alleged crime, wouldn’t one of the first investigative steps be to ask the people living directly below whether they heard it?
According to defense filings, serious questions remain about whether the basement family was ever properly interviewed regarding sounds, arguments, disturbances, or the alleged use of a reciprocating saw.
If they heard the saw, that could support the prosecution’s timeline. If they didn’t hear the saw, that could raise significant questions about the theory. Either way, why wouldn’t investigators want the answer?
When investigators avoid asking obvious questions that could confirm or challenge their theory, people are left wondering whether the goal is to find the truth or simply build a case.
