Hurricane Milton absolutely DESTROYED Manasota Key, AKA Englewood Beach, Florida.
The roads are covered in many feet of sand, and the homes have absolutely been hollowed out, with some being buried.
It will take years to recover.

Hurricane Milton and power outages have caused a major shortage of gasoline in St. Petersburg. There was nearly a 1 mile long line for the only gas station open on 4th Street on Friday. Police had to take control of the intersection. @BN9

For those of you messaging me regarding a "shift in track towards Tampa". Storms wobble as they move. The storm is in a deep layer flow towards the Big Bend. Yes, even a small shift or wobble east is not great, but the overall forecast is unchaged. Hopefully a slight wobble east will reduce the threat to Tallahassee. #Helene
