Tigers take 3rd at state. Kyndal Aikin pitched a great game only giving up 3 hits to Clearwater with 7 Ks and a shutout as FS wins 1-0. Hymer led the way with 2 hits. Allie Brown and Rogers each added a hit as FS scores the lone run in the game with only 4 hits as a team.
The Tigers played a great game against Eudora but fell short 2-0 Rogers threw a gem giving up only 5 hits in 5 1/3 innings Eudora’s 2 scores came with 2 outs each time on an error and also the only walked batter of the game scored the 2nd run. Wheeler had the only hit for FS
Tigers win game 1 at state over Chapman 4-0. Kyndal Aikin throws all 7 innings giving up 4 hits with 9 strikeouts. Allie Brown, Allie Wheeler and Raylee Cowan each had 2 hits for the Tigers @SEK_Sports

Tigers State Send Off to Salina
-Depart from FSHS @ 1:00pm. Girls will need to arrive 12:15-12:30ish to take pictures/load and wave goodbye.

Fort Scott punched their ticket to state with a 6-4 win over Topeka Hayden. Jacee Rogers was the winning pitcher over Labette and Kyndal Aikin picked up the win against Hayden. Lakyn Farley threw well in her 3 innings against Hayden to start the game… cont. in comments
Aubrey Yarick went 3 for 6 in the 2 games. Hymer added a homerun against Labette and Abbie Gorman homered against Hayden.
On the season FS has 4 starters hitting over .300, 3 hitting .400 or better …(Allie Wheeler at .480, Aubrey Yarick at .417 and Bryleigh Hymer at .417)
Raylee Cowan and Allie Brown make up one of the best middle infields in the state, each hitting over .500, Brown at .574 and Cowan at .523. Jacee Rogers at .375, Abbie Gorman at .372, Kinsley Brown at .338 and Aikin at .300 round out the top 9 in hitting.
