@DeptofPhysics), the Eagle pub is where James Watson and Francis Crick famously declared they had "discovered the secret of life" — more commonly known as DNA. The Eagle is also one of the latest stops for our
@FloridaState Biology in London program students!
While in Cambridge, a city just north of London, students visited iconic
@Cambridge_Uni labs, including those of Watson and Crick as well as Frederick Sanger, who determined the structure of insulin, and Howard Florey, a key agent in penicillin's development. Students also toured CU's Pembroke College (
@pembroke1347) and its chapel.
