ALT FWW is hiring non-union temporary organizers in place of union organizers to do equal WORK, but without the equal rights & protections as their teammates.
ALT This isn’t right. We maintain that all staff doing union work should be in the union, & deserve the same rights under our contract.
ALT This has led to the displacement of one BU organizer with a non-BU organizer, creating a two-tiered system where organizers do not receive equal rights as their teammates, but are expected to carry out the same work.
ALT The Union has proposed several compromises to address management’s concerns on this issue. Management hasn’t budged.
ALT FWW organizers run pressure campaigns against those who uphold systems of inequity. FWW management should know better.
ALT Our proposal aligns with FWW values of fair treatment and equitable opportunities. We urge FWW management to agree to it, ensuring equal rights for equal work.
NPEU and @FWWunion member Aimee, joined thousands of activists and fellow unionists in Oregon as they took to the streets in solidarity with Minneapolis, demanding "ICE Out."
I think it's best for everyone to understand that the unified class project of billionaires right now is to do to white collar workers what globalization and neoliberalism did to blue collar workers.
NO SERIOUSLY — History is full of horror stories where employers sacrifice workers’ rights and safety to increase profits. Employers don’t bear the brunt of those decisions — workers do! Don’t wait to be exploited: Get involved! Unionize!

One week ago—with half an hour of notice given to the union, and in the midst of bargaining for our second contract—the National Women’s Law Center announced it would be eliminating 20% of staff, laying off 32 of our colleagues (including 21 members of our unit).
