A giant in journalism: CBSs Bill Plante. So sorry to hear of his passing. It was such an honor to talk to him in 2015 about his 1965 coverage of Selma. Equally cool was literally running into him jogging in DC 2017. His smile was like his imprint in journalism: Big. RIP

I can not tell you how sad I am to hear of the great Renee Poussaint's passing.
She was not only one of DC's favorite long time tv anchors, she was one of my
idols. I was a college intern at WJLA. She taught me what she demostrated:
poise, preparedness and professionalism.
