I took this photo in Lusaka, Zambia. 🇿🇲 From Kenya, you first fly to Addis (2 hrs), spend 2.5 hrs on a layover thinking about your life 😅, then another 5 hrs to Lusaka. Almost a whole day in transit. Huwa I imagine the beauty if all African cities had direct flights man. 😤

We are now 8,000 strong. ❤️ To celebrate and to also follow up on my recent post about air connectivity. I'd like to make someone's day. Between 9th and 25th August 2026, I'll sponsor six one-way @KenyaAirways economy tickets for six followers (3 ladies and 3 gentlemen). Destinations: Mombasa, Kisumu or Eldoret. The only condition is that you must be a Kenyan and you must never have boarded a plane before. To enter, reply to this post and tell me: • Where you'd like to go • Why you're travelling (family, work, school, vacation, personal reason, etc.) • Why this trip would mean something to you This post will stay up for 6 days so that even followers who aren't online today get a chance to see it. Next week, I'll randomly select six people and announce them publicly. If Grok can help with the random selection process, even better. 😄 A few years ago, I was a boy from Bungoma with dreams bigger than my reality. If I can help six people experience their first ever flight, I'd be grateful for the opportunity. Good luck. ✈️❤️

Four months ago today, my life changed forever. She won't remember these days. But I will. Every smile. Every photo. Every moment. Every prayer. We've been in different countries for much of it. But you've been with me every single day. Happy 4 months, my daughter. ❤️

Three months today, my little baby. 💕 Distance may separate us for now, but not a day passes without me thinking about you. Daddy loves you and looks forward to our next cuddle. 😌🌸✨ I can’t wait to board that plane and hold you again. ❤️

Nimewatch video ya my daughter's first international flight mara kadhaa. 🥺😭 And honestly, sijui kwanini inanifanya nikuwe emotional nikiwa kazini. 😭😂 In 2019, nilifika Nairobi kujoin campus pale @ZetechUni. That's the first time I was coming to Nairobi by the way. I was just a boy from Bungoma with big dreams and very little to show for them at the time. Back then, flying felt like something that belonged to other people. You'd hear stories, see pictures, watch movies and wonder what that life felt like. Juzi, I watched my daughter take an international flight. She probably doesn't even know why it's such a big deal to me. And maybe that's the beautiful part. Because every parent silently hopes their children will start from a better place than they did. I was not there with her, but my heart was. And always will be. ❤️ Life has a funny way of rewarding you. Not always when you want. Not always how you expect. Sometimes it lets you struggle through the process, then one day gives you a quiet moment like this and reminds you how far you've come. Aki this one hit me. Bungoma boy alikuwa na ndoto. Saa hii, daughter yake anaziruka. ❤️✈️ Guys, having said all that, if you dream it, you can do it.
From tears when booking the air ticket to pure wonder at 30,000 feet... Guys, jana was my daughter’s first international flight akiwa 3 months. The love, the pride of seeing your daughter airborne is ineffable, man... Crazy!! 🥺 Akae sasa na shosho wake..😂 Fatherhood. ♥️
