A special moment for @FaceLabLJMU last night. Unveiling the historic human reconstruction of #KingRichardIII at @YorkTheatre. The amazing hard work of historians, linguists, @monmorley and many other experts created the King’s address in his contemporary original pronunciation!
It's great to see @FaceLabLJMU's recreation of the voice of King Richard III.
The Face Lab team created the avatar based on the reconstruction of Richard III's head with the help of a craniofacial expert.

Scientists have spent 10 years recreating the voice of King Richard III and the final product has finally been revealed. The recreation suggests the 15th-century monarch had a northern accent.
