In nfhs, this is article 44 section 3 rule b.
In the common sense of basketball, itβs no different than running with the ball and dribbling. Itβs the same advantage. Which is ironically, rule C.
Thereβs a lot of people out there, including officials, that miss this.
#1 key to an ELITE bump on your drives is ball, opposite foot and shoulder connecting at the same time π

Overheard a parent talking about the importance of being on a βtop teamβ so you could make it to the semifinals of a tournament so more coaches would watch you play.
My thought? Be on a team whose coach can pick up the phone and get people to watch you play whether itβs on the premier field or on a field in the middle of no where.
In my personal experience, most scouts are cleared out by semifinal and final day anyway!!
Scouts show up for good players, full stop!

My favorite dirtbag agent move is the guys telling schools/collectives to pay them their fee directly as a "consulting fee", not telling the player, and then still having the player pay a fee on the money they get directly.
another example of how everyone thinks they know basketball. This βreporterβ taking jabs at βotherβ internet gurus. Cause isnβt a reporter using the internet that thinks he knows, an βinternet guruβ ?
Just report. I know another reporter in Phx that thinks heβs an evaluator)
I'm tempted to say something about all the internet gurus covering their colleges getting excited about certain SoCal prospects when I know the truth how overrated they are, but they're still high school kids so I'm staying quiet. Enjoy the recruiting process.
