In nfhs, this is article 44 section 3 rule b. In the common sense of basketball, it’s no different than running with the ball and dribbling. It’s the same advantage. Which is ironically, rule C. There’s a lot of people out there, including officials, that miss this.

the dribble happens w the step, the bump comes AFTER,… for you cool internet trainers out there πŸ‘‹
#1 key to an ELITE bump on your drives is ball, opposite foot and shoulder connecting at the same time πŸ”‘ Comment 'DEVELOP' and I'll send you the link to join my FREE basketball community πŸ’― Make sure you are following me so I can DM you!

Overheard a parent talking about the importance of being on a β€œtop team” so you could make it to the semifinals of a tournament so more coaches would watch you play. My thought? Be on a team whose coach can pick up the phone and get people to watch you play whether it’s on the premier field or on a field in the middle of no where. In my personal experience, most scouts are cleared out by semifinal and final day anyway!! Scouts show up for good players, full stop!

In high school, kids should not be doing this movement. It’s illegal. And honestly it should still be at every level. It’s not b-ball. it started w the girls. They do it a lot. Now the internet dorks and cool guy trainers are trying to trick everyone. Theres reason rule is there

Watch Zylan Cheatham's top plays from NBL26 ‡️ The @Adelaide36ers forward did it all this season, finishing among the League's best rebounders while averaging 12 points per game 😀

This is true. been there. He tried.
My favorite dirtbag agent move is the guys telling schools/collectives to pay them their fee directly as a "consulting fee", not telling the player, and then still having the player pay a fee on the money they get directly.

another example of how everyone thinks they know basketball. This β€œreporter” taking jabs at β€œother” internet gurus. Cause isn’t a reporter using the internet that thinks he knows, an β€œinternet guru” ? Just report. I know another reporter in Phx that thinks he’s an evaluator)
I'm tempted to say something about all the internet gurus covering their colleges getting excited about certain SoCal prospects when I know the truth how overrated they are, but they're still high school kids so I'm staying quiet. Enjoy the recruiting process.
