I was sick today in Japan, so I stayed in and played online. Had some observations, but one thing stood out above the rest:
The lack of elite smash etiquette here is lowkey insane lolololl
In my 2 hours of playing I had a whole 2 people rematch me who both left on 1-1 😭

Overall, quite proud of my last season in central. Could have done better towards the middle, but I was still able to fight on par with a lot of incredible players. Happy to be a part of the strongest pr there yet :)

Got 5th at Hard Read and 3rd at Over the Moon, my last central PA brackets
I did not play as clean as I wanted, but the performances were solid regardless
I cannot express how much I owe to central. It's truly an incredible region
I hope to represent them well in the future :)

Probably gonna take a mini break from tournaments. I need to sit back and consider where I should go with my gameplay from here. There are definitely a lot of punish/pressure ideas I can implement. I also really want to work to make my G&W strong and continue improving my mental

I find it so funny that in the year of our lord 2026 people still consider Shulk to be "potential man".
What potential lol? He's Ike with some colors
Shulk is carried by the fear of things he is simply not capable of. People hear the words dial storage and start shaking

This goes the other way as well. Mid level Shulk players are insanely carried. He really is just not that hard and auto wins many matchups
I'm not making a qualitative assessment about the character. I just think this label for a character that does max 3 piece combos is funny

Thought my play overall was really good. I felt strong in a lot of areas I’ve been working on too
Played a bit too passive, esp vs Deltaforce
