Update: Police have arrested two men following an assault and damage to a house and car in the Donegall Avenue area of south Belfast in the early hours of this morning. Shorlty after 1am - several males approached a house and began shouting aggressively as the occupants were trying to leave the property. Police say the group then confronted the residents of the property and attacked them, resulting in injuries to two people and damage to the property. It is believed several weapons were used in the incident. A woman and a number of young children were inside the property at the time of the incident One man aged in his 40s, and one man aged in his 20s have been arrested on suspicion of a number of related offences.

UPDATE: A house was attacked last night in the north Belfast area. Emergency services were called to an arson attack at a house in Leroy Street / Glenbank Place. The incident happened at 4:30am. Several other homes were targeted in the same area earlier this week. @BelTel
