Trotsky would have been a Napoleon I, which is much better than Stalin, who was a Napoleon III.
Had Trotsky won, his USSR would have been, ironically, far more bureaucratic than Stalinโs, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. The problem with Stalinism is that it was not bureaucratic enough. A powerful bureaucracy means greater stability and less terror.
