With the confirmation that the Ticketmaster Queue is not actually random, it raises a deeply concerning question: Can Ticketmaster now pick and choose exactly which accounts get first access to high-demand tickets? Because there is zero transparency into how their queue algorithm actually operates, it feels like anything is possible. For a company already facing intense scrutiny over its business practices, this lack of clarity only fuels the belief that the system is rigged against everyday fans.

So @tickemasteruk think it is OK for promoters to breach the Consumer Rights Act by not offering a resale option to #consumers. It is all very shady and the the kind of crap that this company and its extorting cabal of promoters have been getting up to for decades @cmagovuk

Here is some typical daily corrupt things done by promoters and artists. These @BonJovi shows were โ€œsold out.โ€ What they really do is hold back these tickets to inflate all of the shows prices, then they slowly release new tickets after dynamically raising the price much higher. This is done to manipulate fans who are uninformed and make them pay higher prices. This is all done by the promoters and artists team, this greed can only be blamed on them and one of the root causes of why ticket prices are so damn high.

Important to remind ourselves that irresponsible traders not only ruin it for those working lawfully but also affect the official market to the detriment of #consumers. Ticket limit is 4 for this event. Whether specced or botted or whatever, this needs eradicating.

#bluedotfever - End the extorting cabal of promoters now!
BLUE DOT FEVER - refers to Blue dots used to signify unsold seats. It's causing big name artists to cancel tours. Artists such as Pussycat Dolls, Meghan Trainor and Post Malone have all recently canceled events due to low ticket sales. Ticket prices have gone up almost 40% in the last 5 years and fans are just not willing to bear the costs anymore. How much money are you willing to pay to go see your favorite artists play live? Example: Bruce Springsteen who used to be very popular in Boston and would sell out in a matter of hours. Still has hundreds and hundreds of tickets left for a concert that is less than a week from today. Prices on those tickets are anywhere between $400 and over $5,000 per ticket. That is crazy

Kesha Tour is supposed to start Saturday. Will she be the next victim of blue dot fever? I really donโ€™t see how these shows can happen with maps looking like this.

I went to Springsteen Tuesday night at UBS arena in Long Island NY paid $38 for a ticket that the face value was $500. You think that if there was a resale ban I would get that price? I wouldnโ€™t because nobody would buy it from the box office to only have a chance to lose money on it. I was able to habitat that price because the market determines the price.

The real reason concerts are not selling out. Official ticket prices set by the cabal of extorting promoters such as those represented by @FanFairAlliance , assuming Coldplay for example signed off on their eye watering prices whilst still calling for a resale price cap ๐Ÿคฃ, have nothing to do with โ€œticket toutsโ€. Gouging the most loyal fans and surge pricing most definitely does lead to Blue Dot Fever and venues are suffering - @IanMurrayMP @lisanandy @RupaHuq @DCMS @Keir_Starmer @CMAgovUK - Be careful what you wish for those who have been hoodwinked - newsweek.com/entertainment/bโ€ฆ

Criminal. Though capping prices isnโ€™t the answer and rarely is in any industry that is not a service or utility that people rely on. The problem with this huge prices is that events are not selling out and as the incentive to do so is gone, the promoter has made their money back and then some by gouging and surge pricing
