The courts handle the legal penalties, but only the government can fix the laws. 🏛️ Under the BC Building Code, we have the right to design Part 9 homes—yet the system ignores us and penalizes us for marketing our work. Time for the OSPG to modernize the Architects Act!

Does the AIBC serve the public, or just architects? 🏛️ Outdated laws completely ignore the existence of qualified Architectural Technologists, erasing their role in building standard Part 9 homes and stalling BC housing. Time to modernize the Architects Act.
