Happy to read this as a new creator!
I’ve seen a few mints turn into chaos during mint and crash right after.
From my experience, that’s just part of the cycle in this industry. The sooner we accept that, the better.
If you’re a founder or artist who shows up every day, consistently works, provides value, and genuinely cares about your holders, people will support you over time.
Right now trust is low. A lot of free mints farm royalties, rug, and people move on to the next thing. But if you keep showing up, people will eventually see the effort you put in.
You don’t need to build something on BAYC’s level. Just show up, build trust, create art, and have fun with your community.
Don’t compare yourself to other projects. Comparison kills momentum. Focus on your work, find ways to get more eyes on it, stay active, and enjoy the process.
We’re only two weeks old, but I’ve been doing this for four years, so a lot of this noise doesn’t affect me anymore.
If you’re a builder and need advice or just want to connect, feel free to DM me. I’m always open to talking with the right people.
And if you want to pick up a D00d, our doors are open. We’re a warm, welcoming community for anyone who wants to join.
To all founders out there — I know it’s hard, but don’t quit.
