i was there around 11pm and honestly, sinakripisyo ko talaga yung tulog ko at iba kong agenda that night para makapila. it was my first time camping, and okay naman talaga yung experience nung una. maayos yung pila, and yung mga nag-step up para gumawa ng listahan were very accommodating. they took the initiative para maging organized ang lahat, and every two hours may roll call pa, so people could leave the line for a while without losing their spot. everything was going well until nag-open na ang puregold. biglang sinabi ng staff na hindi raw nila iho-honor yung listahan dahil hindi naman daw ito galing sa kanila. nakakalungkot lang kasi the list was never meant to cause issues, it was made para mas maging organized at fair ang proseso for everyone. in fact, it could have made things easier for them too. kailangan lang naman nilang i-check yung numbering sa kamay. sobrang disappointing lang because people spent hours waiting, sacrificed their sleep, and cooperated para ma-maintain yung order ng pila. everyone was doing their part para maging maayos ang sistema, pero parang na-disregard lang lahat ng effort na iyon when the doors finally opened. nakakapanghinayang at nakakalungkot talaga. i'm not posting this to attack anyone. i just want to share my disappointment as someone who experienced it firsthand. the overnight campers did their best to stay organized and cooperative, and i wish that effort had been acknowledged. at the very least, i hope situations like this can be handled better in the future so that the time, patience, and sacrifices of the people who lined up early are given the consideration they deserve.
