This is normal in some states. Those left over sirens are now used for tornado warnings. Texas panhandle tests them on the last Friday of every month during the season. My daughter in W.V says it's done there as well.
🚨 NUCLEAR ATTACK SCARE IN CALIFORNIA — SIRENS SPARK PANIC
Residents in Laguna Beach were left stunned as loud emergency sirens echoed across the entire city.
No warning.
No visible source.
Just continuous alarm tones.
People reported:
• Thinking a major attack was underway
• Searching for the source of the sound
• Describing it as “full-on bomb warning” level
One resident said:
“I genuinely thought we were getting nuked.”
Authorities later confirmed:
It was a test of the emergency siren system.
But the reaction tells a different story.
Because in a time of rising global tension…
People didn’t assume “test.”
They assumed threat.
And that says a lot about the world we’re now living in.
