If a person chooses not to answer they still count in my survey. I hope to ask about 500 randomly sampled cross section of individuals.

I am also recording there ethnicity. So far I have asked 4 young men and all have answered.

For each male between the ages of 16-45 that I ask, I am identifying 1 to 2 themes collected from the question "why."

This survey simply asks: "Name for me a man that you know and that knows you that you admire. Why? Did you grow up living with your father?

I haven't done much for awhile. Been pretty busy at work. Will start interviewing again very soon. However, I did decide to create a survey.

This interviewee is a married parent of two young children whose parents are still together. He grew up in a pretty traditional family.
