“We are enthralled by the undoing of the violences of modern society and balmed by a deep connection to the natural world, leaving us with pockets stuffed with fungi - sometimes deadly, sometimes delicious. Always wild.” 📖🌳🍄

This June our #BlogTour is a kind of yearning, a chapbook by @ChristiJasutan which feels both an exploration of joy and trauma.
“This is where I find the softest hurt’ is a contemplation of the body, an examination of the relationship between the self and beyond.
We are delighted to announce that Fawn Press has been successful in receiving Arts Council Lottery funding, enabling us to launch the first Fawn Press Women’s Development Programme! 📖
🧵
Submissions open on the 20th May - 17th June to self-identifying women, gender fluid and non-binary poets, so keep your eyes peeled for more information on the programme over the next few days, and some tips on what the submissions team will want to see!
🧵
The development programme will offer 5 weeks of poetry editing sessions and development programming lead by our founder Scarlett Ward.
Find out more about the programme on our blog!

Today's #FridayFoodPoem is from @nabsticle from her pamphlet, 'Let me make you something to eat' from @FawnPress. I was lucky enough to hear Nabeela read a selection from this at the @magmapoetry launch of their food issue last year.
Endlessly proud of @scarlettwith2ts & her baby @FawnPress 🙌🏾💚
I’m beyond excited to return as an editor and submissions reader alongside her.
We’ve got funding! Thank you @ace_national
Keep an eye out for the submissions window opening soon!
