For people complaining about Gane's 'back of the head shots' Poatan was hitting same shots to Jiri in their first fight.
They are not egregious.

I'm picking Gane. He's naturally bigger and should be able to eat Alex's shots even if they land.
Alex doesn't have great defense, especially for the straight shots that he invites in. Gane being quite fast and good at darting in will cause him problems.
Alex's best weapon...

Underhook/collar tie is often more stable than a double collar tie, since your hook keeps you connected and tight on one side, while the collar tie frames, creating space to strike.
The DCT leaves space for the opponent's shoulders to wiggle through & makes it harder to pin them to the cage, while double underhooks leaves you too close to strike with power
