Aretian in Copenhagen 🇩🇰, Lund, and Stockholm 🇸🇪
Last Monday, we were pleased to participate as speakers in the roundtable “Cities as Innovation Infrastructure” hosted by
@BLOXHUBdk in Copenhagen.
The session brought together leaders from across the urban innovation ecosystem in Nordic European cities to discuss a critical question for the future of cities: How can we strengthen collaboration between cities to unlock their full potential as innovation infrastructure?
It was our great pleasure to share Aretian’s perspective on how advanced urban analytics, City Science methodologies, and digital twin technologies can help cities better understand their economic, spatial, social, and innovation dynamics — ultimately supporting more resilient, prosperous, and coordinated urban development strategies. It was a pleasure to exchange ideas alongside inspiring contributions from Ditte Lysgaard Vind (BLOXHUB), Signe Kongebro (Ramboll), Dr. Gesa Matthes (HafenCity Hamburg GmbH), Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth (Future by Lund), Ditte Deigaard (BLOXHUB), alongside fellow participants Frank Helner Venset from Freja Ejendomme A/S, Mads Birgens (Cobe), Cornelia T. S. Jakobsen (BLOXHUB), Mikkel Zinck Schrøder (C40 Cities), Jeff Risom (Urban Partners), Frideborg Hjorth (Lund University), and researcher Chunli Zhao (Lund University).
A sincere thank you to BLOXHUB for organizing in collaboration with our team such a thoughtful and stimulating conversation, and to all participants for the engaging discussions on the future of cities, innovation districts, and collaborative urban transformation.
We were also delighted to contribute as keynote speakers to the Stockholm Smart City Expo, Nordic Mobility Expo, Infrastrukturmässan, and to visit the Lund Innovation District, a highly dynamic up and coming knowledge economy hub propelled by the Future by Lund team.
