Iโ€™ve had the pleasure of celebrating with the Friends of Featherstone Community Centre group, who have received funding from the National Lottery ๐Ÿ“ท This wonderful group spends their time knitting hats, mittens and other items to support neonatal units across the country.

Wednesday 3rd December I will be holding a coffee morning to raise funds for Fibromyalgia Action UK a charity close to my heart. The wonderful children from Girnhill Infant School will be attending to perform a selection of Christmas Carols. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On Friday 7th November, I was honoured to attend the Festival of Remembrance held at Wakefield Cathedral. It was a moving service. We will always remember their courage, their sacrifice and their dedication. #lestweforget #wewillrember

On Sunday, the Mayor of Featherstone was honoured to attend the Festival of Remembrance at Nostell Priory. The service was deeply moving and provided a meaningful moment of reflection as we remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
