What a spectacular day we had at the carnival celebrating its 50th anniversary! With the sun shining brightly, music filling the air and smiles stretching from ear to ear, our children truly embraced the carnival spirit. They danced their way through the streets, waved

enthusiastically to the crowds and represented our school with pride, energy and joy. A huge thank you to all the parents, carers and families who came along to cheer us on. Your support helped make the day even more special and contributed to a truly memorable celebration.

To mark our Diversity Day, children came to school wearing their traditional clothes. In the afternoon, parents were invited in to learn and talk about each others cultures and shared home made food which was devoured by all! It was fantastic to see so many families attend.

Today we had Claire Dreyer (Catering Services Manager) from the Pioneer Learning Trust bring a ‘Discovery Table’ information session during the lunchtime for our children to see. The children were very intrigued about where different foods come from. They were able to touch

and feel the different type of food displayed whilst discussing with Claire their thoughts. She gave the children she spoke to an activity sheet to complete. Does your child know where their food comes from? Please ask them to complete the activity sheet and return to school
