“How’d the 2026 Idaho legislative session go?”
Not great. Because the Idaho legislature just showed you who they work for. And it’s Not you. It’s Big Ag.
Every good bill on illegal immigration this session got killed or couldn’t get a hearing. The single biggest issue facing this country, this state, and the lever pullers wouldn’t touch it.
But honestly? We’re just the cattle (the legislators). Most of us don’t even realize it. The real power in this state isn’t elected. It’s the lobbyists and the entrenched bureaucrats who’ve been running this machine long before any of us showed up and will be running it long after we’re gone. And a governor who somehow never once found the courage to talk tough on illegal immigration. Not once.
Brad Little had nothing to say about the biggest crisis hitting Idaho families. You have to ask yourself why that is.
These are the same colleagues who pound the table about border security and being in “the Trump Train” at every town hall and legislative forum when cameras are on them.
Then they came back to Boise and made sure nothing passed that would’ve touched the cheap labor pipeline their donors depend on.
And you know what rides in with that pipeline? Drugs. Human trafficking. Sex trafficking. We just gave all of it a pass. Because the same economic machine that wants cheap slave labor doesn’t want you looking too hard at what else is crossing that border.
So we get to absorb the damage while corporate margins stay protected.
And the Idaho Sheriffs Association, the people you’d expect to be loudest about this, were leading the charge to make sure we did nothing. Nothing.
This is a moral catastrophe playing out in plain sight. It touches everything this state is supposed to stand for. And enough people in that building are either bought or too scared to move.
You sent us there to fix this. I tried.
Now you know exactly why it didn’t happen.
