Hating remakes is so forced:
1) They give new generations an opportunity to experience an old game.
2) They give old generations the opportunity to relieve childhood memories.
3) You don't have insider info. How can you be 100% sure remakes are wasting resources?

Just fyi for the “console-exclusives bad” crowd.
This utopia only works if the hardware layer is completely open and the content is physical. Hence why movies were “exclusive-less” 15 years ago.
Games don’t have that, and neither do today’s movies, thus Netflix originals.
