THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A POWER BANK & A POWER STATION⚡️
Please re-tweet for others to learn ✅
A power bank is a regular energy storage device that provides power to ur small appliances such as phones, mifi, flashlights, most power banks are 5 Volt systems, some are now modified to supply 12Volts DC with power delivery to charge certain devices like typeC laptops
However, regular power banks do not have an embedded Inverter inside❌, an embedded inverter supplies 220Volts AC power to a socket just like the wall socket in ur house. A regular power bank cannot power a regular TV, Fan, etc
A power station on the other hand is basically a DC generator, it has a solid battery bank, and has an embedded inverter to convert that DC power from the battery to AC power fed to a socket✅, this can run appliances such as regular laptops, TV, standing fan, decoder, music players, lights, refrigerator, ps5 etc all depending on the power rating of the power station
A 50,000 mAh rating on a regular power bank is not the same as 50,000 mAh on a power station ⚠️
In terms of power calculation :
A power bank with 50,000 mAh & 3.2 volts nominal voltage is just 160watt-hours
A power station with the same 50,000 mAh but 12v nominal voltage is about 640watt-hours
So If u draw 100watts from the powerbank it will last just 1hr & few minutes
If u draw 100watts from the power station it will last 6hrs plus
Do u see the difference????
This is why power stations are more expensive than regular powerbanks. So when next you look at energy devices, don't just look at mAh and price alone, check their function and capabilities
They are not the same
Always check the specs and features of electronic items before u buy or make comparison
Thank you for reading this far, I hope u learned something new today,
