I lived here for 6 years when my kids were little. It is one of the more diverse suburbs and one of the biggest traditions in the city. We went every year we lived there. My heart is breaking.

People are asking about the stats I presented about school days being associated with child suicide. There are many ways to look at it.
Simply, using July as a reference month, you can easily see "school peaks."
It's very striking.

I'm just learning that there are multiple school districts around the country that do four-day weeks.
Trainings & meetings on Friday. Probably virtual tutoring when it's needed.
Someone explain to me why we all aren't doing this? As a teacher & a parent I love it.
