How does a small loss-making recruitment agency land a £50 million deal to supply PPE? According to Lord Feldman, the agency owner just needs to be a 'good chap' and 'ex-SAS'. Much of the PPE SG Recruitment eventually delivered would be marked 'do not supply to the NHS'.

When people hear the term #accessibility, they think of it as a web developer’s responsibility. However, even if a platform is built to be accessible, it's the upkeep of online content that ensures a platform remains accessible. Our guide can help: zurl.co/DidFR #A11y

I've got a Saturday evening and most of Sunday to kill in #Orlando in a few weeks, while waiting for a flight. What should I see/do? I'm not keen on theme parks and I don't want to travel far from the airport.

Recently, @BarnsleyAT were welcomed to our College by our Speech and Language Therapy & Assistive Technology team. Among them was Jamie, who is a service user representative for BAT and an advanced user of the Grid software, which enables him to communicate using technology.

I called families to tell them their beloved was dying. I read out messages from absent family members. I saw the British public behave with such *staggering* decency as they obeyed the rules to protect the vulnerable. Is my anger 'overblown'? She has absolutely no idea.

This is a real concern which urgently needs addressing. In the specialist FE sector, the gap is even wider, making it much harder for specialist colleges to recruit and retain SEND specialist staff.
Replying to @TheIFS
Nearly half of college teachers leave the profession within three years of starting, partly due to the pay gap between college and school teachers. The pay gap between colleges and schools is set to widen to nearly £7,000 or 18% in 2024/25, the largest gap on record. [5/8]
