My two favorite films at #TIFF25 were Baz Luhrmann's EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert and Pete Ohs’ #Erupcja, so it’s been fun to see people blown away by the former and eagerly anticipating the latter. The performances of Charli XCX, Lena Góra in Erupcja are a *genuine* treat.

Thrilled to contribute to this stellar list of films (alongside some truly great writers) for @TheFilmStage; you can read my thoughts on Park Chan-wook’s NO OTHER CHOICE.
Back in Toronto for my nineteenth (!) Toronto International Film Festival. I started on Thursday with THE FENCE (stagy but compelling) and IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT (as powerful as advertised). Today: Charli xcx in ERUPCJA, a Roy Keane drama, Park Chan-wook, YOUNGBLOOD! #TIFF50
I last saw @oasis on December 15, 2008, in London, Ontario. (The shirt says September, but the show was postponed to December thanks to trouble at V Fest in Toronto; I was there, too.) Now, 16-plus years later, I’m ready to see the boys in Toronto and New Jersey. #OasisLive25
As Steven Spielberg's #Jaws turns 50, we're thrilled to exclusively premiere behind-the-scenes stills from an expansive new book on the making of the blockbuster masterpiece. 🦈

I may not be in Cardiff, but I am enjoying listening to @oasis on @RadioX with this guy on a sunny July 4th. See you in Toronto and New Jersey in August, @liamgallagher!
Thanks to John Bleasdale’s fantastic Terrence Malick bio, THE MAGIC HOURS, I learned that Malick appeared on the back cover of Carly Simon’s 1976 album, ANOTHER PASSENGER! (MAGIC will be covered in my next books column for @TheFilmStage … )
