At this point I was fascinated by what this means for practical farmers
Dick was clear - bringing in animals from a ‘clear’ tested herd of it was from a high risk area was probably a terrible idea

Following a confirmed case of Foot and Mouth Disease in Germany, the UK Chief Veterinary Officer is urging livestock keepers to remain vigilant for signs of disease, follow scrupulous biosecurity & report any suspicion of disease immediately to the Animal and Plant Health Agency.
