Tehokas ja antoisa päivä Singaporessa 🇫🇮🇸🇬 🔹 Tapasin Singaporen sisäisen turvallisuuden ministerin K. Shanmugamin. Keskustelimme ajankohtaisista turvallisuushaasteista ja maiden välisestä yhteistyöstä. 🔹 Tutustuin Singapore Economic Development Boardin toimintaan ja kuulin heidän näkemyksiään talouskehityksen ja innovaatiopolitiikan tulevaisuudesta. 🔹 Pidin Raffles-luennon, jossa kerroin Suomen tarinasta sekä Suomen ja Singaporen välisistä suhteista. Korostin tekoälyn merkitystä pienen maan menestystekijänä. 🔹 Tapasin suomalaisten yritysten edustajia, mm. Nokia, Wärtsilä ja Neste. Keskustelimme liiketoimintamahdollisuuksista sekä yhteistyöstä Singaporessa ja laajemmin Kaakkois-Aasiassa. 🔹 Päätimme päivän vastaanottotilaisuuteen, jossa tapasimme laajan joukon suomalaisia ja singaporelaisia toimijoita. 🔹 Lisäksi annoin useita mediahaastatteluja.

An insightful day in Singapore 🇫🇮🇸🇬 🔹 Met with Singapore’s Minister for Home Affairs, K. Shanmugam, to discuss current security challenges and cooperation between our two countries. 🔹 Learned about the work of the Singapore Economic Development Board and heard their insights on the future of economic development and innovation policy. 🔹 Delivered the Raffles Lecture, sharing Finland’s story and the strong relations between Finland and Singapore — highlighting in particular the role of artificial intelligence as a success factor for a small nation. 🔹 Met with representatives of Finnish companies, including Nokia, Wärtsilä, and Neste, to discuss business opportunities and cooperation in Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian region. 🔹 Concluded the day with a reception, bringing together a wide range of Finnish and Singaporean stakeholders. 🔹 I also gave several media interviews.
