The newest member of @FindMyHuddle: the guy that built my fence! I was really pleased with the process of working with him start to finish, and we talked shop a bit too, so i shared some info. A few weeks later, he’s in! If you need a fence in/near Boulder, hit up Brandon!

Every month I get a batch of fresh leads for @FindMyHuddle… one man’s trash… is my prospect list. Every one of these is a local founder betting money and time on growth. That’s who The Huddle is built for.

This is one of the main reasons we’re building @FindMyHuddle!
By far the most difficult part of being a solopreneur is doing it alone.

Do you know a Denver/Boulder based biz owner who’d benefit from a founders group like @findmyhuddle? We have room for 1-2 more members for our May/June meetings. Let’s grow together.

Can't believe it's taken me so long to ask prior contractors I've hired about @FindMyHuddle. Reached out to the owner of an electric company that does great work. Same thing with the guy who did my fence. And others. They're all interested.

Are you building a business? I’d love to tell you more about @findmyhuddle, a private community built for entrepreneurs who want more. We’re building a peer group with 5-6 person cohorts both in person and virtually, across a diverse range of industries, and focused on helping everyone grow. Think: a monthly meeting where you bring your baggage and pain points, and have a workshopping session with others who are in the arena too. Similar to something like Hampton, just intended for those a few stages earlier, in the $100k-$1M(ish) range. We also cover pressing and timely topics; last week in Boulder we spent an hour chatting through AI and how we’re using it in our workflows for automation or support for roles that we’re not yet able to hire for. Learn more from this article I wrote up after our second in person meeting. We have room for 1-2 more people in Boulder, and we’re building our virtual cohorts with the intent of creating more in person groups down the road too! open.substack.com/pub/longru…

The best peer groups aren't made up of people who do the same thing you do. They're made up of people who think similarly (growth mindset), but come from completely different worlds. More on @FindMyHuddle: longrunlabs.substack.com/p/w…

We had our second meeting of @FindMyHuddle's Boulder cohort yesterday and WOW was it awesome. Everyone left the afternoon with at least one tangible experiment to try in their business that could be a strong unlock for their next level of growth (myself included). After we caught up on progress made from last month, we spent over an hour talking about how we're all using AI, and how the others in the group might consider leveraging tools like Claude, Gemini, Adobe's tools, and more. I also realized that the sales process automation I've created (taking a seven step process and turning it into one sentence to run the whole thing) would be quite valuable as a how-to guide... More to come on that. From there, we spent the rest of the time workshopping every member's business one at a time. This is where the diversity of experience/industry comes in. A PhD in neuroscience who's running a tech business learning from a realtor with creative ideas and a desire to experiment (and vice versa), for example. We already have our April meeting on the books and I'm excited to hear about the progress that each member makes in that time. If you're a business operator/entrepreneur in the Boulder area OR literally anywhere else, check out our site and fill out the form to learn more. We have room for 2-3 more in our Boulder/Denver cohort, and while I'm loving the in-person component, we will also be opening up virtual cohorts as we work to build out in person groups in other cities!

Absolute banger @FindMyHuddle session this afternoon here in Boulder. Everyone left with at least one new, and very tangible experiment/change to make in their business that can be meaningful.

Had a very awesome kickoff for @FindMyHuddle today. Three hours of founder-focused deep dives and problem solving, and then 🍕. Very strong signal on the desire to meet up in person (vs virtual) and can’t wait to see where we can take this!

After years of founder conversations, one pattern kept showing up: The people building the most interesting things don’t need more content. They need a better room. So we built one. @findmyhuddle = a small, curated peer group for founders in endurance, outdoor, and health, led by @JasonFitz1, myself, and another experience operator. Quarterly in-person. Monthly virtual. No noise. Just real builders, real conversations, real progress. A trusted room for the messy middle. Launching today 🚀
