Hats Off was released on November the 5th 1927. Last publicly shown in Germany in 1930. It is now considered lost. With your help we can find it before it turns 100 years old in 2027.

Has #HatsOff been found? Unfortunately not but Unreeled8 on Youtube has made a valiant attempt at reconstructing the 'considered lost' film using stop motion.

Did you know that 'Hats Off' was remade by the same director, Hal Yates, in 1945 as 'It's Your Move', starring Edgar Kennedy? Located in the same area as 'The Music Box' steps the 'Descanso Stairs' steps were used.
