Yesterday I was working somewhere. Someone stepped in to attend to a few needs on his deck. I did not know he was watching me join meetings, attend to calls, and focus on my screen. When he was about to leave the place he said, "I do not have much on me, but have this for water, and I love what you are doing." He did the same for the guy who was there. A whopping 1,500 was in my hand. I appreciated him. Stress was showing on my forehead, but he added a broad smile to my face. God bless him.

Last week I bathed in the rain twice. I came out of the apartment around 2 AM to do something unusual. I danced and sang. I cried in the rain like a child. Nobody could see my tears. I experienced the child-like feeling again. The cold breeze penetrated my body. The entire world around me was quiet. Nobody could record my vulnerable moment. I went inside afterward, took a glass of water, and slept. I woke up feeling very light and ready for whatsoever is ahead of me. Even more happier.

Whenever I see posts dismissing people from learning their foundational skills because of AI, I am always surprised. You will hear, “It’s over for designers.” But they forget that great designs with AI only come with refined prompting skills. It is a skill on its own, not some eyesore designs. It takes someone with foundational designing skills to understand alignment, elements, best fonts and sizes, etc. And it requires human engagement for better results. Tomorrow you will read, “AI can generate better SQL code.” Without the starter pack knowledge, you won’t know when it’s correct or not. Let people breathe. Only those with the foundational knowledge can confidently leverage AI.
