Been struggling a bit just recently with all the negative things that are happening in the world & the lack of urgency & action being taken to deal with the #Climate Crisis.
So it was good to be reminded by Mum and Dad this week about the positive impacts we can have locally 1/3
Here are the North West Highland Beach Cleans group results for November.
Another busy month with the stormy weather providing lots of material on our beaches for volunteers to collect.

A man has been bitten after catching a sandbar shark on a Florida beach.

Sharks are essential for biodiversity. Hereβs how:
π¦ They regulate fish populations
π They prevent prey species from overgrazing habitats
πΏ They protect coral reefs and seagrass beds
π They keep marine food webs in balance
Sharks have ruled the seas for over 400 million years!
This #WorldOceanDay, join us in celebrating these ancient ecosystem engineers, essential to keeping the ocean healthy, balanced, and full of life ππ¦π
