Everybody is waiting for that once in a lifetime idea to make them a millionaire. I’ll be a millionaire and completely debt free by 37, and I sell dirt and fertilizer for a living. Don’t overthink it. Find something you’re good at, and get to work.

It was a good run the last 8 months, but I'm officially shutting down my Amazon side hustle today. With the recent surgery in the last month, I've decided I don't need to run myself into the ground to make an extra $3K-$5K per month. I'm glad I did it, but it's time to reset.

This is an incredible problem. In addition to choked supply chains, finding labor has become extremely difficult in numerous industries. The logistics of our everyday world have been taken for granted. Fewer drivers and more demand for shipping has caused major issues nationwide
Hearing about all kinds of supply chain issues across many areas of the economy. Automotive dealers are being told they will have no new trucks by spring. This could lead to inflation much faster than many people realize. Are you experiencing this in the industry you work in?

Weather forecasts between 60-75 degrees should be banned on all hospital TVs. It already sucks being stuck in here, I don’t need to hear about how beautiful it is outside.

I think in the last year, consumers have become accustomed to feeling letdown and disappointed. Actually, it may even be expected at this point.

The supply shortages across my market (Ag) is extremely alarming and not getting any better. The stimulus checks are great and all, but the economic issues are still plentiful with basic infrastructure and logistics being crippled. Is your industry still facing issues as well?

I often hear companies say, “come visit our store and experience our large inventory and non-commissioned sales approach”. Hard pass. Give me a salesperson who is hungry and is willing to work for a sale. If he/she doesn’t get paid from the sale, then they’re not going to care.

I’ve been in the hospital for 5 days after having an appendectomy. A couple observations: 1. Patients can be incredibly rude, needy, and deceitful. Even when they’re not in pain. 2. I’d have 1M followers if I could properly communicate my dreams while on oxycodone.

It baffles me that we’ve gotten to the point where any time we are mildly inconvenienced, we immediately look to blame a politician.

Few things discourage me more than when somebody tells me something is easy, and I find it extremely difficult. What’s something that comes easy to you, but most everybody else finds challenging?

I disappoint myself the most when I deliberately seek out a controversial topic on Twitter, knowing that it is going to fire me up. I sometimes wish I could deactivate the search feature between 8 PM - 6 AM

We paid off our house in May, which isn’t the best move for ROI. We did so, because of my wife’s inevitable job loss. Last Tuesday was the day, and now we have no concerns about paying our mortgage or taking care of our family. Lesson: not all PF moves are made based on ROI

Sometimes when I scroll through facebook I see something wise and clever. Then I realize it's a crazy relative who posted the information and it's no longer wise and clever. Does this happen to anybody else?

I hit my head on an open cabinet door and I didn’t rip it off the hinges. It’s already a good day.

Being the Jack of All Trades is nice, but being the King of a Single Trade is better.

I could be wrong, but to put it simply, I think we are all just trying to find the right balance between wealth, meaningful pursuits, hobbies, and relationships. Am I missing anything? Those four seem to cover the majority of my priorities.

Multiple income streams can be great. But too many can be disastrous. Don't spread yourself so thin that you can't handle everything. I'm speaking from experience.

Our world is moving quickly in the direction of ease and convenience. But what this really means, is less human interaction. Relationships have always played a vital role in happiness. The same can’t be said for one day or contactless delivery.

A millennial walks into their Boomer boss’ office, turns in their resignation, and cites unhappiness as their reason for leaving. The boomer responds by offering more money to stay. I would wager that this happens a lot. It’s amazing how different generations view the workplace

I’ve taken a lot of time away from Twitter in the past few months, but when I open the app, I usually seek out a select few accounts that I always seem to relate to. @markallanbovair continues to be a real, genuine, and extremely relatable person that I thoroughly enjoy.
