Poilievre says PM Mark Carney was wrong on carbon taxes, pipelines, inflation, and deficit spending—and that Canadians are now paying the price. "Mark Carney has made a club of Liberal insiders... fabulously rich while making everyone else poor."

Liberals promised for the dozenth time to make food affordable in another costly announcement yesterday that promises billions of tax dollars for the programs that have failed for a decade. And, of course, the media censored any criticism and provided an infomercial for the Liberals.
NO balance from CTV and Global in their coverage of Carney‘s grocery price illusion last night: On the latest Liberal announcement they: - gave Carney glowing coverage without any Conservative response in their stories. -never mentioned it’s Liberal policies that are causing inflation. - no mention of the multiple attempts the Liberals have made to address affordability that have failed miserably. The media should do their job and present all the facts to Canadians instead of of covering for Carney’s failures.

More costs. More taxes. More of the same Liberal empty promises on food prices. You said a year ago you would lower grocery prices. But your taxes and recession gave Canada the worst food inflation in the G7. You raised the industrial carbon tax on farm equipment, fertilizer and food processing. Your weak economy and weak dollar have lowered purchasing power and raised the cost of imported food. The Conservative plan is to suspend all fuel taxes for the rest of the year, end the industrial carbon tax, and cut inflationary spending so farmers can grow more for less and Canadians can afford groceries.

In a country like Canada, this should be unfathomable that working people live in campers in parking lots. But after more than a decade of Liberals, it’s the reality for far too many Canadians.

Pierre Poilievre held emergency meeting 🇨🇦 in a full-blown affordability crisis. Groceries are brutal. Rent is brutal. Mortgages are brutal. Carney promised to make 🇨🇦 the most affordable country on earth. Instead, he somehow made Trudeau look financially responsible.

From the promise of "speeds not seen in generations" to the reality of slamming the brakes completely to zero. No wonder Mark Carney has delivered Canada the ONLY economic recession among G20 countries. Prime Minister, want to get Canada out of the recession YOU created? Get your Liberal government out of the way and green-light big projects now to get shovels in the ground and get our workers building.

Imagine having a Prime Minister that laughs at a woman who lost her job and became homeless, only to then refuse to answer after getting called out on making a joke of it. Well you don't have to imagine. Here he is. Share this with a Liberal voter.

🚨 APRIL 2025 — BEFORE CARNEY WAS EVEN SELECTED This woman had inside access to his Davos/WEF circle. She was the contrarian voice in the room. She traveled with them. She still had a seat at the table when she dropped this: Desiree Fixler warned: •Carney isn’t telling the truth about the affordability crisis. •Carney isn’t telling the truth about the climate hoax. •He will shrink the economy — just like Germany’s Green Deal disaster. •He’ll come for your freedoms: what you drive, how you heat your house, your right to speak, debate, dissent, and protest. •He wants a CBDC so government can have “full control on your life and spit you right out of society.” •“His brand is crisis. And he’s manufacturing the one.” •She called him a natural resource thief in a country this rich in resources. She begged Canadians: Don’t vote for him if you value democracy or economic prosperity. She warned us, the left didn’t listen! Now? Canada is in a RECESSION! The data is in. The pain is real. And Carney is in charge. This video was before he was placed to lead the Liberals. The warnings from people who knew him best were crystal clear. Ignored. Are Torontonians and Canadians finally waking up to what insiders were saying all along? Or are we still pretending this was all a surprise? Drop your take 👇 #Carney #Recession #cdnpoli #WEF #LiberalFail #CanadaFirst

Sure, Liberals say, Canada is the only G7 country in recession. Sure, two back-to-back quarters of shrinking GDP is the textbook definition of a recession. But, they say, it is just a “technical recession”. A fluke. Everything else is great. So let’s look beyond the back-to-back quarterly decline: Canada’s unemployment is now the 2nd highest in the G7—a third higher than in the U.S.—as Canada lost 112,300 jobs in just three months, leaving 45,800 more Canadians jobless since Carney became Prime Minister. The economy contracted in three of Carney's four quarters in office, something unmatched in the G7, as business investment fell another 0.7% for a fifth straight quarterly decline, and more than $20 billion in net investment fled Canada. Meanwhile, insolvencies hit their highest levels since 2009, up nearly 19%, with 1.5 million Canadians missing debt payments in just three months and mortgage delinquencies rising 32%. Canadian households carry by far the highest debt in the G7, while food bank use continues to surge. 1 in 10 GTA residents are now relying on them and visits are hitting a record 4.1 million last year—up 340% since 2019. Nationwide, food bank demand is up 100% in 7 years. Almost all these measures are worse than when Carney took office and worse than any other G7 country—so blaming world events or tariffs won’t cut it. Stop the excuses. Own it: This is a full-blown Carney Recession.

It's official: Canada has unexpectedly entered a technical recession for the first time since the pandemic lockdowns in 2020. Real GDP in Canada fell -0.1% in Q1 2026 following a -1.0% contraction in Q4 2025. This marks two-straight quarters of GDP contraction for the first time in six years. Economists had expected Q1 GDP growth of 1.5%, yet the economy suddenly contracted. The weak GDP data coincides with a weak job market as well, as the Canadian economy is likely to remain under pressure amid ongoing US tariffs. Meanwhile, the household saving rate fell to 3.5%, reaching its lowest level since the Q1 2024 as spending rose faster than incomes. Canada is facing a major economic slowdown.

BREAKING: Mark Carney is the ONLY leader in the G7 to lead his economy into a RECESSION. All other G7 countries face the same tariff and global problems, yet none are in a recession. Excuses, speeches, buzzwords, and signing ceremonies do not grow the economy. Canada is the only G7 country in recession because of Carney Liberals hiking industrial carbon taxes, kept anti-development laws, and doubling Trudeau’s deficit.

Masked cowards paraded an effigy of a Jew being hanged, in downtown Montreal, in broad daylight. The sickness of antisemitism is here, in our own backyard. This Liberal government is doing nothing to stop it. We must stamp this out and make Canada once again a safe home for Jewish people.
They're hanging an effigy of a jew in Montreal now. "Whatever Zionist!" The problem with the Islamists is eventually they will come for you too. See Nigeria, Sudan, Yemen, Rwanda, Lebanon, Iran and countless others. Are you ready for this Canada? 🇨🇦
