India has overtaken the US in having the longest road network in the world as per Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). India is now having 6.7 million kms of roads, followed by the US at 6.6 million kms, and China 5.5 million kms. India also has the highest road density in the world. India will continue to lead as India is now adding around 7,000-10,000 kms of highways a year. And will quickly catch up to China in paved roads, where China leads India by 0.5 million kms (India, US come second & third). 10,000 kms of road addition is like laying a road from Tokyo to London every year. This is no joke because if you think post 2020 India's infra boom was spectacular, India has only doubled its investment in infra now compared to 5 years ago.

A Retired Bank Employee Donates Rs 25.51 Lakhs to Indian Army Central Welfare Fund !!!✨ Mr Shreekant Sahasrabuddhe, a retired bank employee in an inspiring gesture toward national service and social commitment, donated a substantial amount of Rs 25.51 lakhs from his life savings towards Army Central Welfare Fund. On 11 Jun 26, he presented a cheque of Rs 25.51 Lakhs to Major General Navtej S Sohal, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding of Uttar Maharashtra & Gujrat Sub Area, Nagpur earmarked for Army Central Welfare Fund. This fund is utilised for the welfare of serving soldiers as well as for the welfare of War Widows, disabled soldiers and families of Martyrs. Mr Shreekant Sahasrabuddhe, a septuagenarian had saved this money for himself and his wife for travelling around the world. Unfortunately, his wife expired six months before his retirement, putting an end to this desire. His children are well settled and thus the family decided to dedicate the money for a worthy cause. Mr Shreekant Sahasrabuddhe has set an example worth emulating.
