3) Choose your bias ⏫⏬
Neutral: highest volume, no directional bet.
Long/Short: adds direction but is trickier than it sounds.
With long/short skew, you’re not just betting “price goes up/down.” You’re betting on the path the price takes. Even if you guess the direction right, wrong path = negative PnL. Start small until you understand how it behaves.
4) Execution mode ⚔️
Aggressive: tight spreads, fast fills 🐇
Normal: works for most pairs 🫰
Passive: wider range, slower, but can perform well over time 🧑🌾
5) Run it → then actually monitor it Watch your PnL, your notional traded, and your participation rate. If you’re 80–90% of the market, you’re basically trading against yourself. If something feels off, pause early and let it unwind positions cleanly.
Why I’m bullish on this 🫵
It reminds me a LOT of the early Hyperliquid days. Back then, early market makers earned airdrops that literally changed lives. Perp DEXs rely heavily on incentives to bootstrap liquidity, and early movers always get the outsized rewards.
TreadFi currently supports: Hyperliquid, Paradex, Pacifica, Aster. More to come... 🧙♂️
