I led a high-level delegation to Miami, Florida, in a bid to improve educational possibilities, foster relationships between The Gambia and the City of North Miami Beach on a cultural, economic, and governmental level, and create health opportunities.

It was an honour to receive an award in Miami, Florida, recognising my role in supporting women and girls in #Gambia. The Mayors of Broward and Miramar also presented me with the Keys to their Cities, symbolising the beginning of a fruitful relationship.

The #ZeroFistulaGMB Campaign, a collaboration between my office, @UNFPATheGambia, and @MohGambia, was launched with great enthusiasm. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the need to eliminate obstetric Fistula by 2030, a serious childbirth condition that affects women.
