Heading into 2026, I looked at what my collecting focus will be. Trying to put some sort of limit on what I collect is tough but necessary. With a few exceptions for some random stuff, the attached pictures are what I hope to focus on this year. #thehobby #sportscards

Racing takes place at Pocono this weekend. The “Tricky Triangle” should make for great racing action. I opened a blaster to get ready for the action. Hopefully the two Zilisch cards are a good sign for the weekend!

I believe I got these in the same blaster or mega box shortly after Biffle passed away. Now, both are gone and all that remains is their legacy. When I took this photo, I never would have guessed Busch would be gone so soon.

Racing at Michigan this weekend. My first mega box of 2026 Donruss was rather bland. I would have rather had an auto instead of points as there isn’t a lot to choose from. Highlights were the Sawalich cards and a great color match Hamlin!

I don’t actively participate in model railroading, but I do pick up some magazines when given the chance. Similar with the history of railroading. Wow! I did not anticipate to pay almost $75 for five magazines! Now, I at least have some summer reading, hopefully.

I finally found the new ‘26 Donruss NASCAR product at Target. I picked up a blaster to open for All-Star weekend. Pretty bummed that the #’d Hemric has a pretty gnarly bent corner. Happy to have snagged a few favorites, though.
