Over 100 high school students from Pawtucket & Providence experienced multi-modal learning through an in-school master class & lecture-demonstration led by @BTJAZCo members. Students & their teachers expressed deep appreciation for having this opportunity.
ICYMI: @BTJAZCo's residency, co-presented with Brown Arts Institute Over 250 audience members stayed on after Friday's performance of "What Problem?" for a deep Artist-Up Close conversation which continued on Saturday morning at a Town Hall and brunch. MORE ⬇️

The brunch had Bill T. Jones, Janet Wong & our @BAIBrownU partners at Brown University's Granoff Center for the Creative & Visual Arts. Audience members expressed their feelings & perceptions towards the performance, speaking on subjects like race, poverty, & arts within schools.
We are still in awe over this night... Over 1,000 audience members experienced this moving performance featuring spoken word, powerful vocals and dance. Our 26 community participants joined @BTJAZCo to help frame the question: "What Problem?" MORE ⬇️
