Had my youngest (8th/incoming Fr) in the barn tonight at her request. 50-70 balls working on rockets, change-ups & aggressive takes. I noticed something. She got lazy with her posture/depth (fatigue). You can't use your legs if youre not in them. Butt down, my friends.

Before calling pitches to locations in LL-HS, how about just challenging the hitter to do the hardest thing in sports (squarely hit a sphere with a cylinder). When they do, "We've got gloves!!"

Youth coaches: Please teach your fiielders the difference between a force play and a tag play and to get off the base when there is no play. This middle-school 3B could have legally gotten trucked twice, and nobody wants that.

I don' share many videos, because many of you all do, and I appreciate you! A dad asked what's up with his daughter. I see a lot at full speed, but I admit I focus on the "usual suspects:" (posture, connection, balance, timing, etc). I missed this, until I saw the pic.

I say change speeds & aim middle-middle, knowing how often you miss your target by a bit (or more than a bit).
