New York Houston Chicago Everywhere else
Best food scene in America 1. Chicago 2. New York (wants to be Chicago so bad) 3. Seattle (sneaky good all over) 4. LA (a lot of over the top nonsense) 5. New Orleans (literally no variation)

One thing I love about traveling, is that it breaks the illusion that your current life is the only possible one.

No one knows you. No one has a story about who you are. No one is waiting for you to be the person you were yesterday. You're just a stranger in a chair by the window, watching a city that doesn't need anything from you. It's the feeling that anything could happen. That the world is bigger than the walls you built around yourself back home. That the life you've been living is just one version of a life, and there are others, and they're not as far away as you thought. At home, you're fixed. Known. You fit into a shape that other people recognize, and after a while, you forget you're even in a shape at all. But here, alone, somewhere new, the shape dissolves. You could be anyone. You could be more of yourself than you've ever been. No one is watching to see if you stay consistent.

The gap between those who invested and those who didn't is going to be painfully obvious 10 years from now.

We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention. You keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. Boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. They give you space to think and create. That's when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. Leave some room.

If you live in the US, own a home with a garage, and drive less than 200 miles a day, you should absolutely 100% own an EV.
