Why do people feel the need to exaggerate what is already a pretty poor act? No one's spine was 'shattered'. The officer in question had a small fracture. She found this out after walking into A&E and walked out again after a scan, and was told to take some paracetamol.

The current taxation on income makes no sense. Graduates are loaded with decades of debt yet accumulated wealth of millions passes almost untouched.
Β£10 million, taxed at 1% would not force anyone into poverty.
