The Sharingan's influence over Kurama and the Tailed Beasts may be rooted in their shared origins. 👁️🦊 The deeper I looked into it, the less it felt like a simple genjutsu, and the more it felt like something much older. Think about what we're actually talking about here. Kurama wasn't a shinobi. He wasn't even human. He and the other tailed beasts were living masses of chakra created directly by Hagoromo Otsutsuki after he split the 10 tails. They had existed long before most villages were founded, and possessed enough power to level entire nations. So why would a pair of eyes be able to dominate beings like that? The answer may lie in their shared origin. Both the Uchiha and the tailed beasts traced their existence back to Hagoromo. The Sharingan itself descended from powers inherited through his bloodline, while the tailed beasts were literally born from the chakra he divided from the Juubi. In a strange way, they were connected from the very beginning. Maybe that's why Kurama didn't react with confusion when he encountered Madara's power. He reacted with recognition. Kurama hated humans. He hated being sealed. He hated being used as a weapon. But I sometimes wonder if there was anything he hated more than the Sharingan itself. When Obito controlled him during the 9 tails Attack, Kurama immediately noticed something familiar. It wasn't just mind control. It felt like the return of a power that had enslaved him before. That detail always stood out to me. Kurama wasn't shocked that it happened. He was horrified because he knew exactly what was happening. And that's what makes the Sharingan's relationship with the tailed beasts feel much deeper than a simple genjutsu ability. It almost feels like a remnant of an ancient authority left behind by the Sage himself. A power that allowed certain descendants of his bloodline to impose their will on the very beings created from his chakra. Which raises another interesting question: Was the Sharingan truly “controlling” the tailed beasts... Or were the tailed beasts being forced to obey a fragment of the same power that created them in the first place? 🤔🔥

This parallel... When Ozai was put in the same position Zuko was when he burned his eye, but instead of Aang doing the same thing Ozai did to Zuko, he holds back and shows mercy, which correlates to Zuko's philosophy that compassion is not shameful or weak.

Some people think it’s child’s play, but Himawari actually did it for real. Imagine putting Naruto to sleep for 24 hours with that single Jūken strike. 😭

Unpopular opinion: As beautiful as it was to see adult Aang helping Korra here, him showing up and instantly fixing everything felt a little too easy. Should the writers have made Korra work harder to earn her past lives' help, or was this perfect?
