For a generation of kids, an essential part of the school holidays was tuning into motorcycle competition Junior Kick Start. #OnThisDay in 1990 one of those competing was 13-year-old Dougie Lampkin who would become a successful professional trials rider with an MBE for his work.

Amazing. @greateranglia have snuck in an additional service to Cambridge & Cambridge North in Summer Timetable change. On the second carriage, luggage rack is free for my beloved #Brompton and drum roll.....I have a seat. Also if I get the right train home I save £2.30 a day 😍

Another short carriage train from @CrossCountryUK Nothing quite cheers me up like having to stand all the way from #Ely to #Cbg 0854. Might have to investigate the new 0903 provided by @greateranglia instead but that cuts it very fine for getting to work.
