In the @HertsWomensCL our ladies host @BedfordCC_ on Smithβs Meadow hoping to get back to winning ways.
Our U15 girls had a great win on Friday which hopefully is a sign of things to come.

On Smithβs Meadow, it was a miracle to get the 4s game on in RD11W but the toss was then lost and a whole world of pain followed!
74 all out was a poor return against previously bottom of the division, who chased that down easily.
Drop to 6th and a long way back up!

In Div 6A it was for once not a 12-3pm game for the 3s, and the batters put up a sensational chase!
St Margs opener made 157* out of a huge 278-6 but that was not enough as runs all the way down the order chased that down with 3 overs to spare.

Another solid win for the 2s in Div 2B.
A good toss to win at a soggy THV and Wheato were then knocked over for 156 with wickets shared.
A decent 2nd wicket partnership set up the run chase, eventually a 4 wicket win with 9 overs to spare.
Up to 3rd, top 2 still to play.

The 1s came unstuck away at the dominant champions.
An unhelpful late dropout and a lost toss were not ideal π
Despite 84* from Nabs, 199 was never going to threaten a powerful batting line up who lost just 3 wickets in the chase.
Drop to 6th. Need a bit more from folk.

A trek to the Essex border to play St Margs 2s who have risen through the divisions like us. They have 3 wins & 1 defeat in what looks a split league.

The 2s have been going well in Div 2B other than a poor chase in the dust at OFs.
Today we welcome Wheato 1s to THV for the first time in many seasons.
Ball likely to favour bat if the puddles can evaporate! A win would get us amongst the promotion slots.
