Nicky Taylor, a Cub Scout leader with Flitwick Scout Group, has been recognised for her service to Scouts – she has been awarded the Silver Wolf.

Cub Scouts arrived yesterday and have settled in. After their first night, they've had a go around archery and tomahawk throwing. Scouts had a range of crafty activities to choose from.

Each group at our District campfire had picked a campfire song to contribute - we'd chosen a favourite from our group. So when some @Scouts ask the leaders if they can stand in front of everyone to sing it the answer is, of course, "yes" #YouShape #YouthLed

We've had a brilliant weekend for our Scout Group Family Camp! So many activities and experiences on offer; backwoods cooking, archery, rifle shooting, tomahawk throwing, pioneer chariot racing, caving and many more. We even found the time to cook 150 small pizzas 🍕

Our Family Camp was made possible by our incredible team of volunteers - our District Team Leader visited camp to present awards to some of them - Length of Service awards, Wood Beads and the Chief Scout Commendation for Good Service - well done to all! 🏅
