On 22 May members of our team will be joining an event at the new BeFloodReady Property Flood Resilience centre based at @hrwallingford. @CIWEM Code of Practice training will be provided from here practical courses from @FloodSchool. A fantastic legacy from Defra's Pathfinders!
ALT Pictured are Graham Broden MBE and Alan Ryan who worked on the PFR Pathfinder to deliver this fantastic new facility: on Monday 22 May members of the RAIN team will be joining a launch event at the new BeFloodReady Property Flood Resilience centre based at HR Wallingford in Oxfordshire. From here, CIWEM Code of Practice training will be provided plus a host of practical courses from the National Flood School. This centre includes a demonstration centre, where controlled floods can happen, as well as a classroom and visitor hub. This is a fantastic legacy from the Defra-funded PFR Pathfinder projects.
